Hi I'm so glad to be here. I am new to raising chickens. My family bought some at the beginning of August. We have 18 chickens that are currently about 10 weeks old. We were supposed to have 10 orpingtons and 8 barred rocks but it seems we have 10 orpingtons, 6 barred rocks, a Welsummer, and another kind I haven't identified yet.
My family is really enjoying chickens. My three kids love them and we can't wait to get our first egg.
