Hello,

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
I have 29 chickens, 17 different pure breeds and 9 mixed breeds comprise the flock. Six of the mixed breed are Eggers, three were broody hatched here.
I love a colorful flock and colorful egg basket.

:frow Hi there! It's so great that you joined BYC! I have Salmon Faverolles, an Easter Egger, a Brown Leghorn and a Welsummer. I enjoy them a lot, they all get along pretty well but they have a lot of space to forage. Good luck with your flock, I hope you post pictures!

Hello, and welcome! Glad that you joined! Good luck with your flock! I have Naked Neck's over here. They are a good dual-purpose breed that does well in the hot summer temps that we get out here in the desert. I also tend to like the rooster's of this breed better too, as I have never had one that tried to attack me.

:welcome
I have a small layer flock (small as in I am only getting 1 egg a day!!!). This year I got a couple of rarer breeds that I plan on breeding next year. I REALLY need to get more layers, I just need to take care of the lice.
I would go on longer but I don't want to bore everyone to death;)

Welcome to Backyard Chickens this is a wonderful website and community I have like 26 in the main coop all different breeds and mixes 14 peeps will lay in the spring. Have a new friend that will buy all my cockerels sooner and more money than taking them to auction
