Hello!!

That's cool! I did all my profile stuff when i first joined but I left some info out cause when I was 11 my mum always told me hackers would steal my identity and i still have an irrational fear of it happening lol
That's not irrational. It's smart.

A BIG welcome, @birb uwu

We are so happy to have you all the way from Australia, whoa! Having any sized flock is wonderful, we only have three hens and two ducks ourselves! It is so great to know you've joined and are eager to learn more about poultry care!

Aaa that's adorable!! :ya My chickens are another level of spoilt, I remember one time I tried out giving them a different brand of food since it was on special and in a smaller bag so I could pay less and carry less of a weight home. I thought they would really like it since it had the word Gourmet on the front but when I gave it to them they just refused to eat. For the entire day they had an empty crop (except for the bugs they dug up) just because they didn't like the taste of this new food. I got really worried and thought it was a worm problem so I went out again to the store to buy a wormer but when I got back home they were eating. My mum had found some leftover food they liked and they were gobbling it up like crazy! I had to go and buy the food they liked and since I already opened the bag I couldn't return the other food, so it was around $15 pocket money down the drain. Now I can only buy them that food (they know I know they won't eat anything else, i swear it's like they're playing mind games with me). Outwitted by chickens. They truly are the definition of fussy eaters!
:welcome :frow I have done that. When they get hungry enough they will eat it. I have mixed the feeds and the birds ate it. When I switched the birds from crumbles to pellets, some rebelled so I mixed leftover crumbles in with the pellets. They got used to the pellets. Good luck with your flock and have fun

Like @ValerieJ said, it's smart. As I personally have had the "joy" of identity theft -offically- at least 3 times over the last 10-12 years.
When we went into training to become foster/foster-to-adopt parents we have to completely lock down ALL internet ID's. Those were some crazy people.... Our social media is still 'mostly' locked down to this day due totally to the "legally insane" folks from that chapter in our lives. So no sweat.

Haha thank you! Hawk is so cute omg,,,,, that little head tilt aaaah!! I really want to hatch some more chicken eggs but I know I would solely have to look after them since my parents are so bent on the "if you want it you look after it" philosophy, and it is already difficult balancing all the parts of my life, chicks would probably destroy me lol
