Hello! My name is JJ and I have been thinking about raising chickens for a long time. I was so excited when my husband decided to get me baby chicks last week for my birthday. I'm so in love with them and am obsessed with giving them the best care which is why I love this site! I have 2 Orpingtons, 2 Dark Brahmas and one Americana. My Orpingtons, Mary Kate and Ashley, are the friendliest of my bunch as you can see from the picture, they live to hop up on my hand and settle in for a nice rest. I love all their different personalities.
