I am a teenager living on a farm in northern Alberta (only crops no animals) and I have had chickens over 1 winter and 2 summers. I took a break from them but I am back to chickens and I want a bigger flock. I am currently figuring out if I want to winter my chickens (as we get up to -55 celsius) and if I can’t, how to get rid of a medium sized flock

wow! that's cold weather. That's -67F for us statesiders. I've taken birds through some cold winters, but never in temps like that. I can imagine it's somewhat difficult.
