Hello there! I am brand new to the chicken game, and thrilled to be in it!
I have six chickens—three white rocks and three Delawares. Got them for eggs. They are seven or eight weeks old now and ready for the coop! I am worried that one of them is mean. Two of them seem to not care about me one way or another. But two of them are really nice, and one of those two likes to play with me so that’s pretty cool.
Anyway, I found this site before I even got the girls and figured I have been coming back to it for weeks now so I might as well join!
Other than the chickens, I have a dog and four cats. If I had a bigger house and property and lived outside of city limits I would have a much larger animal family! Someday!
Right now I am not working, but I was teaching junior high and high school for an agency which serves traumatized youth, both residentially and just for school for the community. Now I am working toward a real estate broker’s license.
I don’t really know what else to put for an introduction!
