Wha-Hoo!! Here goes!! I'm brand new to the chicken world, and I'm so EXCITED!!
I've got 12 girls on order from the local hatchery: 3 RIReds, 3 Black Sex Link, 3 Barred Rock, and 3 White Leghorns. These ladies will make up my little backyard flock, and make such a nice addition to our group! They will join our (hubby and me) 3 goats, 4 cats, 1 dog, and 7 children on the little 1 acre patch of heaven we call home. Being new to this though, I have a lot of worries - want to do things right! I'm looking forward to being able to ask/answer questions from all of you!
