Welcome to BYC, so glad you joined the flock. Ducks always have such an innocent look about them, I love to watch them. Years ago we had a mallard hen and her two boyfriends come to our house on a regular basis. The female would peck at the door until we opened it and gave them a pan of water and some bread crusts.
They would drop the bread into the water to soften it and then chow down.
