Sorry about your father passing. Possums don’t usually eat a whole chicken. I agree with sourland about setting a live trap but make sure it’s big enough for a raccoon as they could also be what’s killing your birds

Thank you! I did spend the morning reading up and I think you’re right about the raccoons. I’ll definitely have to get some traps in place.

Hello, Vee, and welcome to BYC. I'd start locking them in the coop at night, and I would set hava a hart type live traps to catch the predator.
