I am still fairly new I would say, but have been farming with chickens for about 2 years now.
I found your awesome page through google. This page has helped me answer so many of my own questions already, I don’t know why I didn’t join sooner.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Fifty-four but I have an incubator and intend to grow my flock.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhode Island Reds, Ameraucanas, and Black Copper Marans.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love the chickens themselves. Spending time with them and seeing how they interact with one another brings me joy.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy ranching, my cats, and cooking.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a few cats, a lot of dogs, cattle, and now chickens. My family have been ranchers out here for four generations now.
