Hi everyone, I've been a chicken owner less than a year (May '24) but I've been rapidly expanding haha. Started with 4, now up to 13, and getting hatching eggs on the weekend. Right now I have BLR Wyandotte, a Jersey Giant, 3 Barred Rock x, 1 Silkie and 6 Silkie x.
They're so fun to have, I love all their little personalities and spending time with them
I've been want to have my own chickens since I was young but am finally in a place to do it.
I have been lurking the forums since before we got the chickens and I thank everyone for their advice and anecdotes. I joined to share pics, ask questions, and maybe answer some once I have more experience in chickens!
