I can have chickens where I live. Ignore the ordinances at the risk of losing your flock. Have you considered working to change them instead of violating them?

Welcome to BYC. I have no ordinances. If I did, I'd obey them. I'd hate to care for a flock and have to rehome them because of a complaint.

We live in the country so no rules but if there were, I’d either obey them, try get them changed if I didn’t like them, or move.
