Hello

Good morning & welcome to BYC.
Mine would not drink it so I mixed some with water and then mixed that in with some feed. (So of course they had plain water available too) They ate every bite of the feed.
As stated above don't use it every day. When mine need to regrow feathers, I generally feed mine canned catfood or fish once or twice a week. Sardines, tuna, or salmon all have protein to help with feather growth.

Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow

Your 911 Recover is fine for all, but I'd recommend giving it every other day, as the sole source of water, and alternating with fresh water. I believe that's a product akin to Hydro-Hen or Save-A-Chick.

I presume the missing feathers are from the prior rooster, not from feather picking?

Higher protein will help with their feather growth. You can try feeding them a little bit of higher protein treats like scrambled eggs, tuna in water, a few mealworms or black soldier flies, etc., but you may want to consider switching to a 20% protein all-flock crumbles or pellets for them. You'd have to provide a separate container of oyster shell, though, as that is lower in calcium than layer feed.

We're glad you're here!
Welcome. I agree with @Debbie292d
