I am in Oregon. I have never registered for any on line posts or conversation.
I was raised around chickens; I love them, especially my hen-girls. My father fought game cocks, and I never questioned it until my teens. I sure do now, tho.
I have a motley collections of sweet RRIs, one with new babies, ruled by a funny Silver Wyandotte cockerel, some Old English games, a Cochin pair, and a couple doves. Other than the RRIs, they came to me because a relative lost her farm. My chickens are free range, except the Cochins, due to ongoing disagreements with the other roosters.
My chickens love to wander into the house through the pet door, and occasionally leave an egg under my desk. I also have a blog, that is often about my chickies: http://truecodeofthewest.blogspot.com/
