This is my first post here so I am hoping all will come out fine.
I just got 6 Golden Comet babies 4wks ago and then went
back a week later for 6 more.
I have not raised baby chicks before but I am having a wonderful
time raising these.

We are working on an old shed to make it a coop and have finshed
the run so they can now get outside for a while each day.

I went in the pen and sat on the ground and got to know them a little better.
We had them in the house until about a week ago
I took these pictures today. I just love all the pretty feathers.

Hello Goldencometlady and welcome. Have you started to sort out names for your girls?

Please, please think about putting hardware cloth over the chicken wire that you have on your run. I found out the hard way that chicken wire only stops chickens, nothing else. It is worth the extra expense.

I second this comment. Hardware cloth. Chicken wire (why do they even call it that?) won't stop many predators, including raccoons.
Welcome to BYC Goldencometlady!
