Thanks, guys! All of these greeting shots are super cute. I'm 100% resolved to reading everything I can and planning -- and finishing -- a smartly thought-out coop before I even THINK about getting chickens, but the pictures sure are lovely.
Yeah...it's the smell with the ambient dampness that I worry about most. I suspect I can keep the ground dry enough for chickens, but maybe not dry enough to avoid the run turning sour. I'll definitely post this in my state thread and see if anybody has extra ideas to add to keeping sand/DE/gravel in it for drainage!
