Greetings all! My name is Gaia and I currently reside in CO but will be returning to South Dakota next year to start up a small homestead with my husband and 3 children.

I was introduced to this website by a friend of mine once I told her that the first thing I am doing when I get back to SD is start keeping chickens. So far, from what I have read, my friend was right in saying that this site is pretty much a one stop shop for advice and information.

I look forward to any help and advice y'all are willing to share for this chicken newbie and I hope that I will one day be able to contribute what I have learned.
