Hi, I'm very excited to have found this website.! I've had my chickens for about a year. I have 2; hen and a rooster. They are partridge Cochins my rooster has started to have some problems. He cannot stand or walk. When I try to stand him up he just falls forward. He is drinking and eating with and without my help, but he has lost weight. Nothing has changed in their diet, I feed them layer feed , and occasionally meal worms and veggies. My hen is fine and shows no signs like this. Not sure what to do about him. I'm also looking to add more hens too. Wondering if I should wait. But if my rooster takes a turn for the worse, my hen will be alone. Really appreciate any advice or suggestions, thanks!

I am so sorry about your rooster. I do not know what is wrong with him. So you might want to do as Kelsie suggested and post this in our emergency section. Kelsie has left you with the link to that part of BYC.
