Hi I live in a rural town in Florida and I currently have six hens and one rooster. They are all Rhode Island Reds. My sister is a kindergarten teacher and she is currently incubating some of our eggs and we are gonna take the chicks if she gets any. We've had our chickens for over two years. We started with 12 hens(supposedly) but one ended up to be a rooster. They are all very friendly.
