Hi, I have been researching & reading information found on backyard chickens & was able to convince my hubby to let me get chicks. I've got 6 feathered friends & am still trying to see how to tell if any are roosters since we can't have roosters in the city.

Hi and welcome

u can post pics of your chicks in the "What breed or gender is this?" forum and see what other BYC members think.
Sometimes u wont be able to tell until they are around 7-8 weeks, sometimes younger.

Be glad you don't have silkies, they can take 4-5 mos. or more to figure out gender.
