Hi I'm Mitchell from Derbyshire, I breed lemon Pyle brahma large fowls and also sablepoots!
Does any body else breed specific breeds?

Welcome to BYC, Mitchell! I have not bred in a while, strictly keeping my flock roosterless with excellent egg laying hen types (not all are actual breeds, I also have Black Sex Links which are hybrids), but years ago I bred Light Brahmas. They were very large, gentle birds, and fairly good layers, but I have to confess, as pretty as they were, they are not near as pretty as the Lemon Pyle Brahmas (gorgeous birds). Maybe you can post some pictures of your Brahmas for us to enjoy. Good luck with your flock.

here is 3 of my flock the girls don't seem to like the look of my phone but he loves it! It's been stressful for them and me at the minute with redmite now the hot weathers here but we have won for now!

They are beautiful birds. Thanks for posting the pics, and congratulations on your victory over the redmites. I hope it lasts.

Talking about your good layers I have a buff brahma cockerel running free with a Lohman brown I put 2 of her eggs in the incubator and they are monstrous chicks so much bigger than the rest of there age, will be interesting to see how they turn out!

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

Great to have you aboard and welcome to our flock!
