Hi everyone I am just starting out chicken loving. Friends have chickens and I have had the bug for a long time, just waited for hubby to come to his senses
He is now building a big compound to keep them safe from ole foxy and within it there will be room for several coops. My ladies will be freeranging the orchard during daytime when I am around, otherwise in the pen is plenty of ground for scratching and bathing plus some old timber frames for them to play on. I found the forum to be very helpful and so far all praise to cheiftan for his post here
