I’m hoping someone could help me. This is our Guinea keet named Nugget. She’s a runt in our group, and is growing slower than her flock mates. I’ve noticed she doesn’t move around much. Only to eat or drink. She’s alert, but I’ve noticed her respiratory rate being much faster than the others. Also, she doesn’t make any peeping noises when she tries. Like she lost her voice. I currently have her separated inside. She’s 3.5/4 weeks old. Pooping is normal. Not runny—color is brown with no blood or mucus. I’m thinking this may be respiratory, but I’m not sure. I used paper towels as bedding initially before switching to large flake pine shavings. In the picture, she’s the light colored keet (lavender).
