I’ve been putting brewer’s yeast in the food daily (mixing it in the feed). I also add sav-a-chick electrolytes to the water but not everyday. The duckling is still eating, drinking and pooping just fine and has tons of energy. I have noticed that the legs look a bit bowed compared to my other ducklings. I’ve also noticed that the hocks look swollen. I have felt the joints and it doesn’t feel like a slipped tendon-the area is smooth and I don’t feel anything moving around. I know seeing results with niacin deficiency can take time. I just started letting them swim around in a big bowl I have (supervised at all times!) in hopes of that helping along with the warm water. I haven’t bought the vitamin b complex from TSC and was wondering if I should absolutely start using that and if there was anything else I can do to help?

ETA: Forgot to add pics 🤦🏻‍♀️ I hope these help!

Personally if it were my duckling, I would just start giving the b complex. You can put it over a treat like scrambled eggs or something.

We want your babies to be the best they can be. Since you have Pekins there is a good chance they will need the brewers yeast all their lives. Once symptoms are gone. Pekins are fast growers and that contributes to their leg issues. But they sure are sweethearts
