Help- « runner duck « with feather crown

Hi,
New to poultry ownership. I purchased 4 ducklings that are supposedly runner ducks. I have one with a feather poof on his/her head. The others do not have the poof. Could the duck be a runner duck crossed with a crowned duck- or something else. They are only 4-5 weeks old and my poof duck is the tallest of the 4. Thanks for your thoughts!

The “poof” is called a crest. It is caused by the skull not joining completely. Although there is a crested breed, any type can have it. Interesting, the feathers on the crest match the ducks back not their head.
