HELP 1yr old hen has laryngitis, comb getting dark, seems lethargic

Please help.

my year old welsummer hen has not laid an egg in a few days, she is getting quiet, has no voice, her comb is almost dark purple, and she's not really sociable.

any ideas? my three other girls seem ok.

maybe some VetRx in case congestion is causing her trouble breathing (Dark comb can mean lack of oxygen.)

Try giving her a nice warm bath and letting her soak. I knew a lady who lost a hen that sounded just like yours and when the did a necropsy they found 3 eggs stuck in her, the eggs pushed against her lungs and made to hard for her to breath. So try a hot bath and massaging in underside she might be badly egg bound.

she had pnuemonia! she's on broad spectrum antibiotic. hope she gets well. thanks for the help! joy
