Help, 2 sick baby chicks

Thank you, Wyorp Rock!!
Here is a photo of the feed.
It's special for chicks with meds. I'll do a mash then. Water added? Is that it?
They do drink well.
I am definitely giving them egg mash.
For the vitamin, do I give them every day?
For the feet, they are fine, but one has a slight splayed legs problem. I keep putting them back in the center throughout the day and hold her in my hands for 15min periods.
Thank you for taking the time for our minis. :)
Thank you for the photos!

OK so I was trying to translate your feed bag - I may have gotten it wrong, so correct me please. But it doesn't look like the feed is "medicated" with a Coccidiostat. It contains Oregano and Margoram as "natural protection" against Coccidia. Is that right?

So if there is an outbreak (overload) of Coccidiosis, then you would need to use a Coccidiostat like Amprolium (Coxoid, Corid), a Sulfa antibiotics or Toltrazuril - likely you would need to seek vet care for these. A fecal float by your vet can easily i.d. if you need to treat for Coccidiosis.

If the legs are not staying together, you may want to hobble her and see if that helps. The article below is helpful for that.

Since your feed is more "whole" just ground a bit finer, then I would soak it in warm water for a little while, but yes...wet mash - see if they are able to manage that a little better. Sometimes large pieces are harder for some chicks to handle. I would not mix in the grit, sprinkle it in the brooder or provide it separate. They don't have to consume grit every time they eat.
They are all so sweet! I hope those 2 start to get better soon.

How is the wee one today? I hope they are both picking up.

Thank you!!!
I will call the vet in the morning for the fecal test.
You are right!!! No real medecine in the feed! I am so mad! Never thought to look at the ingredients.
Man.
Thank you for checking.
I did look at the info on how to get the legs back together. Tried it, but it did not hold. I ll try again.
I also added GSE in the water and I boosted the one who waddles in vitamin E again. She seems to do a tad better.

The wee one keeps getting stepped on when eating. I am keeping it with the others tonight and moving him to his own quarters tomorrow.
He is not eating much. A bit of eggs and feed today.

Tomorrow I will see the vet and hopefully get some answers.

But the poop is normal. Not bloody.
One of the strong baby has sometimes watery poo.
And the one who waddles sneezed a few times today...

I lowered the heating plate just in case...

Thank you all very much for all the great info!!!

I can't wait for my Silkies to grow big and strong! :)

Keep us posted on what the vet says and how they are doing.

I don't really see anything wrong with the feed you are giving, the wording is sometimes a bit misleading if not read carefully.

Glad the poop looks normal looking, that's a good thing.
Coccidiosis doesn't always present as blood in the stool - there are 9 strains of Coccidia that affect chickens and only 2-3 show as blood. Looking at poop and going by behavior of the chicks is usually a better way to tell when something is not right.

Update on the babies.

The vet did not find any Cocci in the fecal float. But, he said this does not mean it's not there. ?!?!

Since they did not find anything they did not give any meds...

On a good note, the baby who swayed is much much better. The Grapefruit Extracts must work, coupled with vitamin E and B complex.

The mini one seems even more mini than before though. He still eats a bit, but is super weak. Sleeps a lot, but he does really like to be part of what is happening when he can. Impossible to seperate him though. He gets all stressed out. He loves to snuggle the others.

I will keep with the Grapefruit for all the minis and high dose vitamins for the 2. I also started giving vitamins to all the other minis in smaller doses, just in case.

All the others are doing great!

Today I added a "room" to the brooder. An extra box with a large hole to have more space. They love it!!!!

I will keep you updated. Thank you all for all the information and support!!!! 🥰

Update:

Took the minis to the vet yesterday. An actual avian vet. She said they looked really healthy. I got the meds for the vaccines.

The one who swayed does not sway anymore. And the vet said that the wee one, well sometimes there is just one that just has a hard time.

She said all I did with the vitamins and GSE was perfect.

Thank you again for everything. I hope not more sick babies for a while... :)

Today I ll take some photos and post them here.

Make sure they have sufficient protien!!! I made the same mistake with my chicks and they were having a hard time developing muscle which might fit a little with your situation. Also, hydration is very important with loose droppings. I would encourage electrolytes. I hope they get better and stick with the sunlight, definitely helps when they get good vitamin D.

Yes, I give them eggs one day, cottage cheese the next.

No loose droppings. It's all back to normal.

And they go outdoors every day with part shade part sun too. Now up to 3 hours per day.

The wee one does not drink. I will give him water with the syringe then. Not sure how to do this. I ll look up a YouTube video.

Thank you! :)
