I sure could use your help. I have twelve 4 day old baby "game chicks" pecking at each others bridge of the nose and at ones eye. I've researched and moved them to a larger pen and I also placed some red toys along with some of the metallic shinny plastic Easter eggs in with them. Last night was not as bad because I turned their heat lamp off and replaced it with 2 small electric heaters for heating. So it was dark and they way able to lay down and sleep. I was using a 300 watt white heating light. But I am going to day to get a 250 red one.Is this common? They have plenty of space even though they stay kinda bunched up because they like to be together. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I raised 24 red pullets I bought from TSC 8 weeks ago and never had a problem like this . I am new to this.Is it because they are game chicks and it's in their nature? Is it the strongest will survive? As soon as i figure how to post the pics i will. Again thanks for any help!!!!
And if any one know what kind of chicks these are let me know thanks
