Last night I noticed one of my chicks limping so I picked him up (sadly one of the cockerels that I'll be giving away). His foot was kinda balled up and he wasn't using it properly. He can get around and none of the chicks are picking on him so I'm not worried about culling him immediately.
I can move and flex the leg without any protest so I don't think he's in pain. There's no feel of a break and everything flexes just fine. If anything it almost feels like the foot is just so limp, it's just there.
