Help! 5 week old chick suddenly cannot bear weight on one leg

From what I can tell, Marek's appears to be a virus induced lymphoma. The chick had none of the other symptoms of lymphoma, and it was quite a sudden onset, but I will definitely keep an eye on my other chicks. I'm a medical lab technologist so I know quite a bit about lymphoma - but in people not chickens. If it is Marek's, my hope is that although all the chicks may be exposed to the virus, they will not all develop lymphoma as a result

If you know about people.....you have a pretty good idea about chickens. Just think of the most brave and uncomplaining patient you have ever seen.....then you have a chicken. They don't always 'tell' us they're ill because it goes against their survival instincts. Read about Marek's and learn all you can. I hope it isn't, truly.
