Help a baby Robin fell out of it's next What do we do???

Hate to say this but sometimes momma or daddy bird evicts one of their babies because they know that it's not going to make it...that there's something that's not quite right. Sad, but it can happen.

Made a mistake and forgot to state that mealworms can be kept in a container with dry oatmeal and slices of apples. Pinch their heads off before feeding them to the bird.

True. I try to remind myself "Who am I to interfere with nature?". LOL. I know that sounds weird, but it the parents sense it won't make it and kick it out of the nest. Then we are breaking the "survival of the fittest" and by interfering we are providing aid to an animal that wasn't strong enough to survive in the first place.

Nature has a way of taking care of these things. If the baby will not make it and the parents kick it out, it's nature's way of providing snakes or another animal with it's next meal. It sounds harsh and cruel, but in the end it works out.

I'm sure they will be gone by then. The grapes are only the size of dimes.

Reminds me of the mockingbirds teaching the younguns to eat our dogfood. I would watch out the back window and momma would lead them to the bowl, feed them the first piece and then it was on. LOL My poor puppies have to compete with the birdies for chow..
