Neat idea on using the fish tank as an incubator! We have made two incubators out of old coolers and they work very well. We have had trouble getting the humidity level up also ----- found that sponges work wonderful. We have a hole in the cooler that allows me to drop water onto the sponge.....keeping it moist without needing to open the lid. We have also put a pan of water in the center of the incubator with a sponge in it.
