I have 2 suspect Roos. I'm a little devestated to give either up, but can't keep Roos. The first is a NH hatch date around 4/23.
The second is a black australorpe hatch date 4/19.
So, both are 3 months and as I looked through lots of posts and descriptions I'm seeing behaviors and traits I think are Roos, but I don't want to give them up! Ugh. How come I'm so attached to chickens???

I can't figure out how to add this to the post! This is the NH...obviously.

They both are cockerels. Sorry!

since we are in love with them, what do we do? Replace them? Take them to a "retirement" home? (I'm a vegetarian, but will eat eggs...and dairy) when should we remove them? Would removal and re-introduction the same day be too much stress for the other 5?

Is there a reason you have to give them up?

Maybe sale them to someone who will give them a good home and that can have them where they are... Theres always stress moving around chickens but they adapt quickly!!!

We live in residential area, the law won't let me keep Roos :( plus, I don't want fertilized Eggs...until we need new layers.
