i got a whitings true blue pullet today (cant get a pic until tomorrow because of how she is roosting) but i wanted help figuring out if she is the color she will be her whole life. she is 15 weeks old and a beautiful silvery grey, will she stay that way or is she still developing color patterns? i am hoping to name her silvy (because she is silver) but dont want to give her a color related name if she is still changing. also she has a fluffier neck than other birds i have but not as muffed/bearded as ither birds can be and i wanted to know if she has muffs or just a fluffy neck and if she might develop more cheek fluff or if she is pretty close to what she will look like when she will be fully grown? i will attach photos of her tomorrow when i can but for tonight i am attaching a photo of a google image search where the neck fluff thing is similar to what i saw on her. in the internet picture, would you say that bird has muffs or no? total rookie here! i need help with these vocab and qualitative stuff.

I'll look forward to seeing picks of your bird
If she's 15 weeks, chances are good she's close to her adult color.
If it had been a younger chick (a day old, a month old) their chick feathers can look vastly different from their adult feathers.

Most of the internet pictures you added do have beard and muffs. (The very first one doesn't appear to have beard and muffs)
It can be difficult to see on chicks.
WTB don't seem to have a standard for appearance, just that they'll have large pale blue eggs. At least as far as I'm aware.

Looks like you're getting health info from the other posts
Sorry she's struggling. Fingers crossed

As far as her color, she's Blue (if you see hatcheries say BBS Blue Black Splash, that's what that is)
She might have beard and muffs?

Are your other two gals Rhode Island Red and Barred Plymouth Rock? I'm a sucker for them (some of the breeds I grew up with. I have one each now.)
