Thank you to all the well wishers and advice givers...The little chickie didn't make it. I woke up this morning and he was gone.

I pulled him the rest of the way out of the shell and there was a small protruding opening on his tummy. Maybe that's why he didn't make it. Poor little thing. At least, as far as I could tell, he didn't suffer.

Oh, I am so sorry. Probably wasn't meant to be. Maybe the hen had some kind of instinct and that is why she abandoned it. It's really hard when you stick it out this long and they don't make it...hugs to you for trying.
