help..any ideas on breed of this banty pretty pullet?

It looks very much like a black mottled sabelpoot (booted bantam). Are you in the UK? They are much more common here than in the US. The difference between a sabelpoot and a Pekin is the leg feathering is more extreme on the sabelpoot and also the posture is more upright and less fluffy feathering on the back end of the chicken.

Our pekin and booted bantams are doing just fine in NZ in the ridiculously hot summer we are experiencing. They are acting like it's completely normal!

My pekins always looked fluffier in the rear than your girl right from the get go - like a feathered ball with very short legs hidden under all that fluff. Your girl looks very leggy by comparison.
