My eggs are getting here either later today or tomorrow, can't wait! Anyway, when they get here, I know I'm supposed to let them settle at room tempature, but how long should I let them settle, and should I leave them in the box or take them out?
Thanks so much!

when you get eggs take them out of the box and inspect eggs for cracks or broken eggs. Then let them sit on counter for about 10-12 hrs to let air bubbles in eggs settle. You can even let them set overnight just to make sure. Shipped eggs go through a rough trip and need time to relax so just give them some time and you should be rewarded with a brooder full of fluffy butts.

You should take them out of the box, place them pointy side down in a carton and let them sit for 12-24 hours. I had good hatch results with both...try to keep between 55 and 65 degrees I think? Someone else will probably chime in here...

Good luck!
