I really love this hen. I incubated her and she hatched on Good friday. She was always my favorite because she has a mohawk and because of it , she isn't able to see straight in front of her( has to turn her head to the side to see), so we were able to pick her up and she got use to it. It's been a lot of work to try and heal her with teens, cats, dogs, other chickens and husband. I know though, that I would do it all over again. Not knowing how she got sick , not knowing what it was at first( Thanks to BYC members I was told) and hoping it doesn't happen again is scary. There is still a chance she could relasp.

Update~
Finn is doing better. Is now in the laundry room, walking, talking and jumping up on the lowest counter. Her neck is upright, but it still has a curve to it. She is also still scratching at the sides of her head and it looks irritated in the areas around the corner of eye and above it. My question is, when can I put her back out in the coop? I have a separate section that she can see the flock but they can't hurt her and my coop has electricity, so I can put a light in there for heat.
