HELP! ASAP! Chick not hatching under mother.

Our hen is hatching her babies and one is hatching outside mama. It is about 69 degrees out side. Do I move it back under mama? I just put a heat lamp in the coop just incase. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Momma tried to kill him after it fully hatched. I took him in and have him under a heat lamp. Hes is all fluffed out now. I tried to put the chick back after he had fluffed but mamma still wants to hurt him.

She also abandoned 5 growing eggs. I dont have an incubator so I put the eggs under a heatlamp with a slightly moistend washcloth for humidity. (I have no clue what Im doing when it comes to the eggs. Im about to google it.)

Almost the same thing happend last spring. I am starting to think hens will not mother late hatches. Idk...

Keep a close watch on the baby. Mom should tuck it under her. If not, I would take matters in your own hands.
