HELP ASAP!!!

There is this robin living in my tree and she leaves for very long periods of time. I just saw her for the first time today after she left for 2 hours. To top this, the weather is freezing outside. What do i do next time this happens? Should I just leave them alone?

I would leave them alone. The mother bird know what she's doing.

It's a wild bird. Leave it alone. Humans often do more harm than good when interfering with wildlife.

You have no idea what is normal for this type of bird in terms of how much time it spends in the nest.
I agree with the others, leave it alone. I am sure everything is just fine.
