help ASAP

im in long island and i had 3 hens in a small coop until this afternoon. i only have 2 left will the others freeze to death tonight? i plan on getting 2 more by the weekend what should i do? i have a tarp over the coop but its just the 2 of them right now

Do your best to eliminate drafts - tuck in the tarp on the corners. Do they bedding (hay or straw or pine shavings) they can nestle into? Or do they roost? Most important - what is their age? If it's 6 weeks + they will be fine I would think.

What happened to the third hen?

i think she got taken i cant find her anywhere. during the day i let out into a fenced in area, when i got home one was in the roost, one was in the bigger yard, and one was missing. they are about a year old- i am going to get 2 more chickens tonight from someone- do you think that is wise?

oh and they roost but i have a good layer of pine shavings in there
