What's your humidity? Do you candle to gauge air cell size?

And you are running at 100*? Have you calibrated that thermometer? They're often off, sometimes by up to 5 degrees.

It says it's been at 96* which I know is wrong, but it won't go up any higher!

My humidity was in the 40s to 50s in the fist 17 days, than 60s to 70s in the last few days. And no. I'm still learning.

That's a problem...

Go out to Walmart and buy some fish tank thermometers. They're about two bucks and usually accurate. Make up an ice slurry of about 3:1 ice to water. Place the thermometers in and make sure they go down to 32*F or 0*C. If they don't, then add/subtract whatever amount it's different by from your reading.

Obviously you LOVE chickens, so I hope you don't give up trying & have better luck in the future.

Start with getting calibrated thermometers (more than one of them, please) and then you can more accurately troubleshoot.

It's so small! Smaller than my pinky!! I don't understand!

I am sorry the chick didn't make it. I agree with the others - this many failed attempts would indicate an incubator problem in my opinion. I hope you can get it figured out so you can have successful hatches in the future.
