HELP! Assisted Hatching?

Here is a better picture

He hasn't been able to stand yet nor eat/drink obviously. His sac is absorbing but the end of it has blackened and I don't want the decay to be absorbed. Will it fall off or should I tie it?

The blackened part won't absorb, it will be a scab an fall off later... definitely don't tie it off, cut off or tear it at all... just apply some antibiotic ointment and give him time... some make it, but some do not... just giving fair warning... :hugs

Update: I just checked in on him and he has moved on to a better place. My focus has shifted to the other 2 eggs but I put them back in the incubator as they have not hatched yet just externally pipped. Hopefully they do much better. I'm quite disappointed with my first try.

So sorry!! :hugs

Unfortunately it is a learning process...

Do leave them in the bator though, that is best... what is the humidity at? You want to keep that high to avoid them getting stuck...

Sorry you lost the little one :hugs

So glad you put the others back in the incubator, hopefully they will do just fine. As Ravyn said, a high humidity is the best thing to do for them at this time.

Humidity is hard to keep the same but it's always between 68-70% when I check on it.
