Help! assisted wrong!

So all of my chicks were pipping accept one. So I tried to make an assist hole but it went bigger than expected and blood came out of the crack and the chick chirped what do I do?

bleeding stopped, heavy breathing and I see the egg yolk. I feel so bad. Any advice to help save this chick.

What stage/how many days was the chick at when you assisted? If you see a lot of yolk and veins still it probably hadn't progressed far enough into hatching...

I think someone else tried putting some damp paper towel around the egg to help avoid shrink wrapping the chick... Try taking a look at the thread below:

it's day 22 or 23 just wanted to make a hole just to be safe but didn't expect this.

I raised the humidity will that help?
