So did you use permethrin or resolve this with the magic garlic?Ok, I will try this natural garlic spray recipe that helps to deter for now. I will continue the hunt for permethrin. Thank you again for your help!
So did you use permethrin or resolve this with the magic garlic?
I ended up using the garlic spray. I couldn’t buy the permethrin, but they finally had it in stock, so I have sprayed for extra protection. But the garlic spray killed the lice.So did you use permethrin or resolve this with the magic garlic?
Special baths, cleaning the area where nothing little can remain alive, boosting her immune system through food and sunlight. Dichotomous earth (food grade) for all three options helps. How can I get rid of them naturally?
I used garlic juice (you crush the garlic, then put the pulp stuff in a strainer, then with a spoon you push down and juice comes out. You might need a lot of garlic, I used one garlic for a bottle of water.) Then I put water (depending on how much garlic juice I made) into a bottle. I used an empty hair spray bottle. I saw on the internet that lavander essential oil works well, so I just put a couple drops in the bottle. But you can use almost any essential oil. Then I just sprayed it on the girls, and the next day there were no mites. I also sprayed it in their cage and coop. I sprayed it almost everywhere. I’ll post the link of where I got this information: https://chickenandchicksinfo.com/garlic-juice-for-chicken-mites/ (this one needs you to boil the garlic, but I didn’t do that)Could I trouble you for the secret formula?
Ok, I have DE that they sand bathe in right now.Special baths, cleaning the area where nothing little can remain alive, boosting her immune system through food and sunlight. Dichotomous earth (food grade) for all three options helps.
Yeah. I made the garlic spray and also bathed the chickens as well.you might be onto something with the garlic spray. I know that there are commercial garlic sprays that keep ticks and mosquitoes away on properties (and better for environment than chemical pesticides) that people employ.
