HELP baby butt exposed

My chick is out of the shell and her butt is free and her beak is out but head is still in the translucent stuff. She had split the eggshell around 12 or 1 this afternoon and it is now 530. Is it time to panic or let her finish on her own?

This pic I just took. I have never seen one fresh from the egg so do not know what is normal. While getting ready to take this the broody took a bit of the translucent stuff off.

Where is the momma hen? If it were mine i would remove all remaining shell and membrane. Can you post some pictures of it on a paper towel?

Momma has a fit when I go near the baby. She did take some of the translucent off. I removed the rest but left what I think is the umbilical.

I'm afraid I don't think this chick has a good chance of surviving but the least you can do is try to save it.

Do you have a heating pad?

Can you get a couple of clearer pictures of what's coming out of its bottom?

She is with mom in the brooder box and it has dry bedding. I will keep an eye on her and hope for the best. Thank you
