So I happened to come home from the feed store with returned chicks. One of which is injured they said the others have been pecking it to death. It’s missing skin around it’s legs and the whole side underneath it’s wings. I’ve applied blu-kote and vetericyn wound spray to the chick. Anything else I should do for it? It’s eating and drinking. Just a little limp and lonely(hence teddy bear.) I’m curious to how long it should be for recovery to put it with other chicks. I’m going to keep an eye out on it and clean it. Should I wrap it or keep it unwrapped?

I would spray it with Vetericyn twice a day and apply plain Neosporin or Triple Antibiotic Ointment, leaving it open. An old clean towel or puppy pads are food for bedding while it heals. BluKote has alcohol, and stings on raw skin. Keep her separated until she heals a bit, then try the BluKote to hide the red skin. Look up slipped tendon in case she has a leg problem which could make it hard ro reach food and water. I would feed it right now, making sure it gets plenty of water. You can put water in the feed as well.
