He was just wiggling. While I was holding him he started to walk so I put him on the floor and he ran up to his mom. He fell onto his side one time though.

That's a definite improvement.
I hate and love having chicks.
It's such a relief once they're big enough that you don't have to worry so much & they aren't as vulnerable.
He definitely seems to have bonded with his mother, which is great.

It's happened before.
My phone has tons of animal photos mashed into it and it doesn't work well.

Can you try him with a little bit of water?
