Help baby chick-UPDATE

Week old baby chick has nasty bottom and not getting up. Still cheeping. What do I do for it?

I don't know everything you should do, but first clean the poo off of the babies vent (bottom). If they get a "plug" and can not poo they get sick and die. If it is really crusted on you may need to run the babies vent under some water and work it off gently. You may try to dribble some sugar water on the side of its beak. Careful not to get water drops on it's nose or it will choke.
