HELP! baby chicks vent is swollen and bleeding

Hard to see whats going on there....either pics are out of focus or my eye are too old.
Once you get it cleaned up maybe take some more pics?
Is it a prolapse or a pecking wound?

It looks like the chicken has suffered a prolapse, and the vent area has been pecked and possibly damaged. Check for the pressence or appearance of a stuck egg, which can sometimes occur with a prolapse.

Keep her separated in a dog crate or basket, and the prolapse should be pushed back inside as soon as possible. Lubricate the prolapse with honey or syrup maded with sugar and a few drops of water, to try and get the swelling down. Plain Neosporin or Triple Antibiotic ointment can be applied to the injured area. Just don’t let it dry out. Make sure that she is able to poop.

How much room is there in your coop, and how many birds? Do they get outside to free range? Overcrowding cannlead to vent pecking. Sometimes they just peck at the red if a prolapse occurs.
